Statement of Purpose
Welcome to Exodus, The Journey the Bible-based website dedicated to encouraging the world through ministry. Reverend Reginald Lockhart offers messages of hope and understanding during these times of uncertainty. Monthly topics include: The Christian Journey, Church Folk, Encouragement, His Grace, and Marriage.
The site name, Exodus, The Journey, is derived from the children of Israel’s journey from the hands of Pharaoh. Israel escaped a hostile environment that mistreated Israel physically and spiritually until God orchestrated deliverance through Moses and Aaron. Today, many in our society remain under another form of slavery such as abuse, anger, fear, low self-worth, to name a few of life’s obstacles.
Our site is designed to journey with you in your walk through this life; to encourage you; and to assist you in dealing with everyday problems. Exodus also means, “going out,” and just like the journey of the children of Israel Pastor Lockhart wants to help each follower out of his or her negative environment.
Life is a journey that need not be journeyed alone and we at Exodus want to walk with you. We want to encourage you. We believe that with God’s help you can survive.
